From Stepping Stones for Women

Our Annual Spring Tea was a great success. Over 180 people came to hear about the ministry that Stepping Stones is doing in the transformation of single mothers and their children. Mothers modeled, the children sang and Beth Misner provided an inspirational message on Transformation and Hope. Beth did her part in making sure she captured the focus and vision for the event. Meeting with her prior to the event helped to establish a focus for her presentation. I appreciated her heart and desire to pray before the event. She “ministered” to me personally and helped my heart to be calm. God used Beth to bring “peace to the middle of a storm” in my heart and mind. Beth created a good introduction explaining transformation and hope, integrating scripture and some personal application.

Stepping Stone Event Attendee

I want to tell you how much I enjoyed the event on Saturday and also share with you what a blessing it was to a friend of mine. I’ve been asking her to come to Women of Faith for several years now, but she has not responded. When one of our group couldn’t come Saturday due to illness, I asked my friend. She later told me she was so touched by the speaker that she might consider coming to my other women’s event. Wow, God is working!
