Jesus and The Secret

This book comes from a place that welled up within me after seeing the movie version of The Secret. I realized that there were many teachings brought up in the movie which had biblical foundations. After reading one book after another written in reaction to The Secret by Christian authors who I feel really missed the spiritual application of the law of attraction, I wanted to write a book which shows where the Bible teaches some of these same principles.

My book is part Bible study, part educational, and part personal story. I don’t expect everyone to agree with my beliefs or application of scripture, but I hope that I can hold the space for a more productive conversation to take place with Jesus and the Secret.

This book is for anyone who noticed the same thing I did when either watching the movie or reading the book—that there are some areas of overlap between the teachings in The Secret and our Bibles. Where are those areas of overlap? What do they mean for our lives today? How can the law of attraction be applied to our spirituality? I hope to answer all these questions for you within the pages of Jesus and the Secret.
